As of December 31st of 2000, people will no longer be allowed to smoke in restaurants in Anchorage. This is a law that has already been passed in the state of California for years, and probably elsewhere, but I really don't know.

Why has this tragedy happened?

Because crybaby, non-smoking, lung huggers have kicked and screamed and whined about their rights to breath clean air so much, that they finally got their way.

"I shouldn't have to die of lung cancer just because you want to smoke", or " Do you think smoke knows how to stay in the smoking section?", have become much overused expressions by these stupid non smoking jackasses.

Whatever.

If you really think that those 60 minutes you spend in that restaurant, inhaling the tiny bits of smoke that maybe wandered into your general vicinity, are really going to give you cancer and kill you, then my dear enemy, you are retarded.

The damage capabilities of second hand smoke are not that good or fast acting. I'm fucking positive it would take much more strength and much more time to do any permanent damage. You could hot box yourself for 2 days in a room filled with cigarette smoke, and come out alive and healthy, and your stupid pretty pink little lungs will be okay.

In order to have a serious enough risk against you, it would have to be a little more constant than a trip to Applebee's. Non smokers who live with smokers that smoke a lot indoors, would be something to maybe worry about, but not a fucking hour in an open area restaurant with ceiling fans and ventilation.

I've been smoking for like, 4 years now, and you don't see me running to the chemo-therapy yet. And this is actually inhaling directly into my body, PLUS the second hand lingering smoke. Are you getting the picture yet?

So I doubt your efforts to banish smoking has really made a difference. The only thing you've accomplished is to piss off an army of smokers within this state that like to go out to eat.

This ranting page will have no effect on the world, or the laws which I oppose, so I will retire now, and my black lungs and I will go elsewhere.

Hopefully you non smoking jerk offs will give me enough time to have one last cigarette before you fucking ban us from smoking outdoors because you go outdoors too.
