Known for influencing Dave McKean, who influenced me, Sienkiewicz was one of the first to incorporate expressionist oil painting into comic books. Growing up, comic books such as these quelled my fears that comic books weren�t art. Sienkiewicz went on to argue for the comic book cover as an artwork in and of itself. He is most famous for Elektra: Assassin and Daredevil: Love & War (both done w/ Frank Miller).
