Emma Lou (Ramey) (Greene) May
Paintsville resident Emma Ramey Greene May died Friday, December 6 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.
Mrs. May was born October 7, 1906 in Johnson county, the daughter of the late Owen and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Ramey.  She was preceeded in death by her husband Willie May.
A member of Concord Independent Church, Mrs. May is survived by three sons, Elmer Preston of Portland, Oregon, Crate Stafford of Meally and George Greene of Florida; one daughter Cecelia King of Tutor Key; one step-daughter, Fannie Slayer of Frankfort; one brother Link Ramey of Frankfort; two sisters Lille Butcher and Goldie Stapleton, both of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 9 at Bryan Fraley & Son Funeral Home with Steve Rose and Wilbur Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in Higland memorial Park at Staffordsville.
Owen Ramey
Brief Illness Fatal to Paintsville Man.  Owen Ramey,78, died thursday May 20,1954 at his home in Paintsville. 

Born Aug. 22, 1875 at Whitehouse, he was the son of Joseph T. and Louise E. Ratliff Ramey.  He was a retired miner.

Surviving are three son's Ervin and Owen Jr. Ramey both of Whitehouse, John Ramey of Melvin; Four daughters; Mrs. Goldie Stapleton, of Lancer; Mrs. Jane Stepp, of Paintsville; Mrs. Emma May of Hager Hill; Miss Virlillie Butcher of Whitehouse.  Two brother's Robert Ramey of Ashland; and Lincoln Ramey of Hellier.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Whitehouse Enterprise babtist  Churchwith Reverand Frank Booth officiating.  Burial in the Family Cemetary at Whitehouse under direction of Jones and Preston Funeral Home.
Lank Ramey
Funeral services were held Tuesday March 7, 1995 for Lank Ramey, 83,  died  March 4, 1995 at Paul B. Hall RMC.
Mr. Ramey was born march 1, 1912, in Johnson County Ky., the son of the late Owen Ramey and Elizabeth Wheeler.  He was a retired miner.
Also preceeding him in death was his wife Marie Ramey on April 17, 1994.Surviving are two sons; Clell Ramey and Joe Ramey both of Sitka.  One sister Virlillie Butcher of Williamsport.  11 Grand children and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were officiated by Jones and Preston Funeral Home, Chapel was Eugene Stambaugh, burial at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Staffordsville Ky.
JOE RAMEY
Joe Ramey, 61, died Monday, July 13,1998 at Paul B.Hall
Regional Medical Center. Paintsville, Johnson Co Ky.

Mr. Ramey was born September 23, 1936, in Johnson County,
to the late Link and Marie Blevins Ramey.
He was a miner and truck driver.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jo Stambaugh Ramey; four sons,
Joe Jr., George Lincoln and Timmy Lee, all of Sitka,
and Billy Ray of Flat Gap; two daughters, Anna Marie Freeman
of Hager Hill and Sandra Kay Todd of Inez; one brother,
Clell Ramey of Sitka; and 11 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 16, at
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Eugene Stambaugh
officiating.

Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville, Johnson Co Ky
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 7, 1995, for
Link Ramey, 83, who died Saturday, March 4, 1995, at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville,
Johnson Co Ky.

Mr. Ramey was born March 1, 1912, in Johnson County,
the son of  the late Owen Ramey and Elizabeth Wheeler.

He was a retired miner.

Also proceeding him death was his wife, Marie Ramey,
on April 17, 1994.

Surviving are two sons, Clell and Joe Ramey, both of
Sitka; one sister, Lilly Butcher of Williamsport;
and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Officiating at services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel was Eugene Stambaugh.

Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery at Staffordsville.
