Albert Hinkle, 85, of Lovely, Ky., died Friday, March 8, 2002, in the Williamson A.R.H. Hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1916. He was a son of the late Jacob and Nellie Hinkle. He was also preceded in death by: wife, Mary (Varney) Hinkle six brothers; two sisters; a son, Avery Hinkle; and grandduaghter, Lisa Jackson and several half-brothers and sisters. He was a retired caol miner and a member of the Octavia Freewill babtist Church, where he served as deacon for many yrs. He was a World War II veteran having served with the US Army. Survivors; daughter, Darlene Hinkle, Memphis, Tenn.: sons Dennis (wife Donna) Hinkle, McAndrews, Ky., Avis (wife Quinell Murphy) Hinkle, Atlanta Mich., daughter-in-law Rita Hinkle, Halfday, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren He is survived by his wife, Mary (Chaffins, Murphy) Hinkle. They were married on Sept. 5, 1991, and he became part of a family of 14 children and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A host of family and friends made his life complete, each in their own special way.
