| The next thing Matt knew, it was seven in the morning. He woke up by somebody that was knocking on his door. He was still wearing his blue silk shirt. Amy was still in his arms. He didn't want to wake up Amy. She was sound asleep. Matt picked Amy up and placed her softly on his bed. He put a blanket over her so she wouldn't be cold. Matt went to see who was at the door. He opened it and it was Jeff. He was hesitant to let him in but he shrugged and told him to come in. Jeff looked at Amy asleep on Matt's bed. He wasn't surprised that she was there. Then again, he wasn't worried about Amy, he wanted to fix things with his brother. He and Matt sat down on the other bed. "Matt, we gotta talk." "I know." Jeff looked at Amy and sighed. He knew what had to do and what his big brother was expecting him to say. He known him for 22 years. He knew what Matt was going to do before he did it. "I wanna apologize having sex with Amy." "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to her. I swear Jeff, if you ever take advantage of her like that again, I'll kill you and you better believe it." "I do, trust me. I'll apologize to her when she gets up. Matt, I don't want you to be mad at me. I shouldn't have over reacted when Trish and I had that fight. I should've been a man about it. I'm sorry, man. I really am." "I can look in your eyes and tell you are." Matt grabbed Jeff and tickled him and smiled. He had his baby brother back. "I still love you, man." "Same here, Matt." They had made up. Matt didn't like it when he and Jeff fought. "I don't got no regrets for slapping you, know that." "I had a feeling you didn't but I ain't mad at 'cha. I guess you and Amy hooked up, right?" "Yeah and I'm so happy, Jeff. Look at her, she's beautiful, I'm not gonna let anything take her away from me." Jeff smiled. He realized Matt really liked Amy. He even sacrificed his relationship with Jeff just to prove it. He was happy for his brother. He wanted Amy and Matt's relationship to last just as much as Matt wanted it to last. He knew Amy felt the same. "I'm happy for you, man." Jeff said with a smile on his face. "Where's Trish?" "She's riding with Lillian and Lisa again. You know they're best friends." "Lisa?" "Ivory." "Oh. I never call her by her real name. Well, I'll leave you alone with Amy. Tell her I said I'm not mad at you no more. Don't try anything, Jeff." "I won't. I gotta apologize to her, our friendship ain't the same." "Alright. I'll be back. I gotta go to the gas station and fill up this car. Gas is so damn high these fuckin' days. Tell her I said I love her too." "I know you do. Bye." Matt changed into his Pearl Jam shirt and some shorts. He left the room so then, it was just Amy and Jeff. Jeff eagerly waited for when Amy awoke. **Scott and Tori were making out in their room. She frantically took off her tank top and Scott's shirt. She pushed Scott on the bed and she was about to take off her bra but someone knocked on the door. "Damn it!" Tori said. She picked up her tank top and stomped into the bathroom and slammed the door. Scott put on his shirt. He was mad. "Who the fuck is this? Interrupting me while I'm about to fuck my girl." Scott said to himself. He opened the door and it was Matt. "What the hell you doing here, man? I'm trying to fuck my girl, shit." "I left my Pearl Jam CD here." "Well, get it and get the hell out." "Okay." Matt got his CD and left the room. He was tripping, as far as Matt was concerned. **Amy woke up and looked for Matt but she saw Jeff instead. She thought she had just had sex with Jeff again. She pulled the covers quickly over her and Jeff knew what she was thinking. "Amy, what you're thinking isn't true. I came here to apologize." "Apologize for what?" "For taking advantage of you, for having sex with you, for not being a man. You don't deserve that. Even though I knew you had been liking me, I shouldn't have did that. You want real love and I can't give you that but Matt can and I hope your relationship with him lasts always." Amy smiled. That was so sweet. She decided to accept his apology. "I accept your apoloogy. Matt's not mad at you anymore?" "No, we straightened things out." Jeff looked at his watch. "Look, Amy, I gotta go to a doctor's appointment. Will you be okay?" "Yeah, thanks for talking to me, Jeff. It helped." "I'm glad it did, Amy. Oh, yeah. Matt said he loves you." Amy smiled and looked at Jeff with a very happy look in her eyes. She pulled the covers over her and screamed. "DAMN, I LOVE THAT WHITE BOY!" Jeff laughed and left the room. It was good to see somebody happy again for a change. Little did Jeff know, tomorrow would be one of the toughest nights of his life. |
