| "Oh my God, how is she? Where is she?" Chrissi asked worriedly as she and Chris entered the waiting room heading towards where Jeff, Laura, and Katie were seated. "Hey." Laura said walking up and giving Chrissi a hug. "We don't know anything yet. The doctor hasn't come out yet." She said. "Well what happened? All I know is that there was an accident and that I should get to the hospital as soon as I could. Once Chris's match was over I made him drive me here." Chrissi said. "Well everything was going fine until Ivory hit Natalia with the chair that's when things went bad. When Katie and Laura went over to Natalia they noticed that Natalia wasn't moving. When they got her backstage she still wasn't moving so Laura went to get the paramedics. We think that Natalia was actually hit with a real steel chair rather than one of the fake ones." Jeff said filling Chrissi in on what happened. "So your saying that you guys think someone actually meant for this to happen and replaced the fake chair with a real one?" Chris said in disbelief. "Yea." Laura said. "Excuse me but I'm looking for the friends and family of Ms.Goodwin." a young doctor said as she approached the group. "I'm her sister and this is her fiancee." Chrissi said as she extended her hand. "Hello, I'm Dr.Levesque." The doctor said. "I just came from seeing Ms. Goodwin." "Well what can you tell us about her condition?" Jeff asked. "Well Ms.Goodwin is very lucky. With a severe blow to the head like the one she took I'm surprised that she only suffered a mild concussion. If she was hit any harder there could have been severe damage done to the brain. She will probably have some headaches once and awhile and might forget a couple of things here or there which is normal in her condition but with rest she will be just fine. She is awake now. " Dr.Levesque said. "How long will she be in the hospital?" Jeff asked. "Well I want to keep her here over night just to be sure but she can leave first thing in the morning." Dr.Levesque said. "Well that's great." Jeff said. "Well there is one more thing." Dr.Levesque said. "Natalia can't wrestle for a couple of weeks. She needs time to rest. If she receives another blow to the head in such a short time after recovering from this concussion she might not be as lucky next time." Dr.Levesque said. "Can we all see her?" Chrissi asked. "Well, normally only one visitor is allowed in a time....but ok." Dr.Levesque said giving in. "Make it quick though." "Hey there sweetie." Jeff said as he walked into her room and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. "How are ya?" "I'm ok. The doctor says that I can leave in the morning." Natalia said. "That's good." Katie said. "Hey girlie." Laura said. "What exactly happened?" Natalia asked. "Well, we think that someone switched chairs so you were hit with a real chair rather than a fake." Katie said. "Who would want to do that to me though?" Natalia asked. "We don't know. Whoever it is I'm willing to bet money that it was the same person who jumped you in the parking lot though." Jeff said. "I still think it's Ivory." Katie said. "What is it with you and Ivory?" Laura said laughing. "Well c'mon think about it . She has the motive and she had the opportunity. I mean Natalia did beat her for her belt and things all went wrong when she was facing Ivory. Everything points to her." Katie said defending herself. "Well whoever it was trust me we will find them." Jeff said. "Yeah, and I like I said before I'll kick their ars for messin' with my girl!" Katie said laughing. "I'm sure you will!" Natalia said. "Hey guys, I hear that there is really great coffee down the hall." She said winking. "OK, OK we get the hint that you want you and Jeff want some privacy." Katie laughing. "We will be outside.I'm gonna call everyone and tell them that your fine." She said as she and everyone else were getting ready to leave. "Oh hey before you go I need you to do me a favor. In my bag in the women's locker room I have some extra clothes. Can you bring those tomorrow? I only have my ring clothes and I want something more comfortable to wear when I get out of here." Natalia asked Katie. "Sure no problem." Katie said. "Thanks." Natalia said. "So the doc says that you can't wrestle for awhile."Jeff said. "I know, it looks like I will have a lot of extra time on my hands." Natalia said. "Well I can think of a few ways to pass time." Jeff said smiling as he leaned over and kissed her softly on her lips. "Ahem." said a voice in the doorway. "Oh, Dr.Levesque." Natalia said looking up sheepishly. "We were..." Jeff started to say. "You were just leaving right?" said the doctor. "Right." Jeff said. "I'll see you in the morning sweetie." Jeff said as he got up and kissed Natalia on the forehead before leaving. "Hey I'll just be a minute. I'm gonna run in and get Natalia's clothes." Katie said jumping out of the car and running into the building. She entered the locker room and immediately found Natalia's things and quickly gathered Natalia's things and left the locker room. "Excuse me." Katie said as she bumped into someone as she was exiting the locker room. "Oh, it's you." She said as she noticed it was Ivory who she bumped into. "Why don't you watch where you are going?" Ivory said as she took off down the hall. As Ivory walked away Katie noticed that Ivory had dropped a piece of crumpled paper. "Why that little bitch!" Katie said as she picked up the paper and read it. |
