A Three Months Later

Matt had the happiest and saddest few months of his life. He loved being with Paige, but everytime he saw her it broke his heart to know that it was one less day with her. He'd seen her go through her good days, and her bad days. Everytime his phone rang he worried that it was Ellie telling him Paige was in hospital, and as the months wore on he worried more and more because he knew that day was coming.
Matt watched Amy and Jeff have a pillow fight in the middle of the hotel room.
"Your ass is going down Hardy," Amy shreiked hitting Jeff with the pillow.
"No way Amy. I'll have my hair all the same colour the day you can kick my ass."
Amy stopped hitting Jeff with the pillow. " Hey Matt, what are you thinking about ?"
"WOW, Matt thinking. That's a kodak moment." Jeff joked.
"I'm thinking about Paige. I know we've been dating six months, but I also know that times running out. So I've decided to ask her to marry me."
"Are you sure ?" Amy asked.
The phone began to ring and Jeff ran to answer it. "Amy you don't know what it's like to watch the person you love the most in the whole world die right in front of you and theres nothing you can do about it. I want to make sure that were together forever."
Amy nodded to show she understood. Jeff put the phone down and turned to Matt.
"You've got to go home." he said grimly.
"Why ?"
"It's Paige. "
Matt, Jeff and Amy arrived at the hospital worried. Ellie was waiting for them. She hugged Matt.
"What happened ?" he asked.
"God, she was just coming down the stairs and she collapsed. The Doctor's want to call in a preist."
"I have to see her.."
"Come on, I'll take you."
Matt arrived at the room and rushed in only to be pushed back out by Paige's Dad.
"What are you doing ?" Matt asked running a hand through his hair and looking into the room.
"Your not allowed in to see her."
"You can't do that." Ellie said calmly,
"Oh I can. She's my daughter and i decide what's best for her."
"You stupid b*****d."  Jeff snarled. "Your such a stuck up asshole that you won't even let the man your daughter loves she her, maybe for the last time."
"You listen to me and you listen to me good. My daughter is dying and I've decided that you are not to see her, your not even allowed to the funeral."
"You sick son of a bitch." Ellie muttered.
"Please, I love Paige. This is the last time I'm going to see her. You can't do this. She loves me."
"Paige always pitied the lower class. She never loved you. You are not coming near her not now not ever. You'll never see her again. As god as my witness you and your lower class scum will not get near my daughter."
