THROCKS FOOTBALL AND WRESTLING CAREER
Dwayne Johnson started playing football when he was in high school at the age of  14. He went to Freedom High school, Bethlehem Pensylvania. By his senior year he had won player of the year award.
He got a four year scholorship with the Miami Hurricanes and from there went on to the university of Miami.
In 1975 he ruptured two discs in his back, he choose rest and small amounts of playing over surgery but lost his chance of being in the NFL due to the injury.
He graduated in 1995 with degrees in Exercise physiology and criminology.
He signed a football contract with the CFL calgary stampeders. He earned $400 a week for a season put then decide to take up wrestling with his dad as his trainer.
He is the third generation of pro wrestlers. His Dad Rocky Johnson trained him in Tampa.

The Rock was the youngest and first black wrestler to ever win the WWF champion belt. He has also won it the most times. This is a record of his belt wins.

The Rock lost the title at Wrestlemainia X-seven on April 1st 2001 when he was against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Stone cold joined with Vince McMahon who had to help him beat The Rock!
