Tears

Tears falling like the rain from a cloud in the sky,

Life is unfair, I don’t see why,

I was happy, as glad as can be,

But then my friends turned their backs’ on me.

Now the tears flow, flow like the stream,

This life is like a horrible dream,

But this is different, from a dream you awake,

I am stuck, stuck with this heartache.

My head is clouded, I am in pain,

My tears fall, fall like the rain,

My mouth has forgotten, how it can smile,

Happiness is far, many a mile.

I hate life and life hates me,

The tears fall, as you can see,

Do not feel sorry, I will get by,

But for now I sit here, sit here and cry.

Life is unfair, but what can you do,

My heart was broken, broken by you,

My tears pour, I sit here and cry,

And as they pour I slowly die.
