Ghost That No One Sees
I stand in the common room corner
They don't even notice I'm here
No one looks, they all walk by
I am the ghost that no one sees

I walk to class early
Down the corridor alone
A boy runs past but pays no heed
I am the ghost that no one sees

At the back of the class sits me alone
My work spead over the table
The teacher doesn't see my hand raised high
I am the ghost that no one sees

The bell rings for lunch
I stand in the queue
They all push in, I am not there
I am the ghost that no one sees

On the bus they talk and laugh
But not with me, I sit alone
The journey home in silence
I am the ghost that no one sees

I get home and they don't notice
They're very rarely in
The cat comes over, but only wants food
I am the ghost that no one sees

I climb the stairs
I enter my room
I take out the knife
I watch light on the blade
I cross the corridor to the bathroom
I stand over the sink
I roll up my sleeve

The blade touches my skin
One clean sweep does the job
I watch the blood poor thick
At last I feel relieved
At last they'll have to see

They stand there all in black
I'm laid in the casket
Tears fall from a few, not many
They say "I wish I'd known her better"
Now they see me
I am the ghost

I was the ghost who no one saw
                    Now they see
                           It is too late
