Friends Forever

Friends forever doesn’t always mean exactly that I doubt friends forever even exists.

Will they be there through the pain, the tear, the fears.

Will they be there through the rain, wind blow and the snow.

Do they care about your wants, needs, pleads?

Do you care back.

Forever is a long time, nothing lasts.

Forever a shadow casts.

You best friends forever?

Best that ends never?

The tears fall like rain.

Your heart can’t hold the pain.

You cry through night and day.

They don’t even look your way.

You ring them on the phone.

You’re feeling so alone.

But they have a new best friend

Your time has reached its end.

You wait a month or two.

They don’t contact you.

You ring them again,

To try and cure the pain.

They answer, say hi.

You make up by and by.

The rain has cleared.

You friend appeared.
