If everyone else knew the love I felt They wouldn't tell me 'there are plenty more fish in the sea' If everyone else knew how my heart aches for him They wouldn't tell me hes not worth it. If they knew how much I long to hold him They would push us together rather then keep us apart. If they knew how much I yearn to hear him say "I love you" They wouldn't crowd my ears with careful avoidance..... And yet.... If I knew how to get over him.... I would. |
