Agility is kind of like an obstacle course for dogs! They go over jumps, through tunnels and tires, over ramps, bridges and see-saws and do a few other things that are hard to describe without pictures. Dogs love doing it, and it's alot of fun for their handlers, too! There are a few different organizations that hold agility events, and each has its own rules and focus for competition. Some are focused on the handler and dog performing precisely within strict guidelines while moving between, over and through the obstacles, while other key on only getting from point A to point Z in the least amount of time. There are, of course, varying degrees of each within the different groups.
