Pleasant or downtown restaurant, most Charlestonians have been to the Wild Wing Caf� at some point. In case you�re one of the few who hasn�t, Wild Wing is a restaurant, sports bar, and cool place to catch local bands. The major advantage of the Mt. Pleasant location is the more plentiful parking. As one would expect in a sports bar, the many TVs hung around the bar and dining areas are tuned into sporting events. As for the crowd you will find a good mix. It is a popular place for local amateur sports teams to go after their games --in fact, stop by on a game night and you will most likely find the lovely Shawnte of charlestonrocks.com hanging out with her soccer buddies. During playoffs you will most assuredly find the sports nuts hanging out, having a beer and a great time while watching the game. Families also come here for dinner during the earlier hours of the evening. On the particular night we were there, Big Black Building was playing, so the crowd liked to rock. When there isn�t a live band there is often a DJ. An absolute MUST: Trivia Night! In the past, trivia nights have been on Wednesdays. Bring a group of friends and try to answer the DJ�s wacky questions correctly. The team with the most correct points after a series of trivia nights gets a large cash prize. There are lots of other prizes to be had, like free beer and CD�s. As for the food you have tons of choices! They have a good selection of appetizers, soups, salads, ribs, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and desserts. Oh and it is the Wild Wing Caf� so don�t forget the 24 types of chicken wings.
