	From Charleston's own Salty Mike's to Nashville in no time at all, the Biscuit Boys are rising stars of the bluegrass revolution. A Charleston institution, this eclectic bluegrass group has gone to Nashville to take a serious focus to their music--and it shows. A flawless mix of original bluegrass sounds, tinged with a multitude of influences from each member of the group, their sound is a combination of past and present. They may look young, but the Biscuit Boys have learned their trade well. Their stage presence is both humble and full of excitement. Playing to a packed Music Farm hometown crowd, their smiles were miles wide, which translated into a show in which they gave 110%. Something that I admired while talking to these guys was that they were very sincere and honest in wanting to bring bluegrass music back for a younger audience to discover. They are accomplishing this goal with their exciting energy and the modern sounds that they incorporate into this music Americana--all without compromising the simple pleasure that it is meant to be. So...until the next time they are in town, I'll just slip their CD into the stereo, close my eyes, and start tapping my feet...
