	The Island Clubhouse 1528 Ben Sawyer Blvd (Mt. Pleasant/Sullivan�s Island) (843) 881-3131 The Island Club House may not have the glitz of the downtown bars, but if you�re looking for a laid back, un-touristy hang out, this is the place for you. The Club House features a full kitchen, TV�s, indoor/outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and a friendly staff. On occasion there is live music (we were there to see Neckbonius Funk), and when it�s open you can play mini golf on the course next door. The crowd was made up of mostly locals; the average age was probably above 40, although the staff said plenty of younger folk hung out there as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. The menu offers all your standard appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and a kid�s menu. Vegetarians will not be disappointed since there are plenty of meat free options under all categories of the menu. Most items are priced from $4.95 - $7.95. From what we saw, that�s a pretty good deal. There are also nightly dinner specials that include more upscale choices like pork tenderloin, prime rib, etc. Beers are typically around $2.75 according to our waitress. We had a good time listening to the music ad would definitely go back to try some of the food. JD
