	These were some fun guys. I�m telling ya, personality is half the battle, and these guys just oozed personality. The other half of the battle is the music, of course, and these guys have it won. I felt very funkalicious during their set and was moving the entire time. The funk got me. I was very impressed by the contribution of nearly every member of the band to the vocals--and they ranged from smooth & bluesy (Steve) to throaty & Lynyrd-Skynyrd-ish (James). I especially dug the "Jack of all Trades" tune and saw quite a few people dancing. It seems as though this band has some loyal followers who slowly packed O�Reilly�s the night we were there. Flywater does mostly originals, with a few covers thrown in for fun. Their style is funk-meets-reggae-meets-groove-meets-jam. If you like any or all of the above, you�re in business. **Random notables--I noticed with my hawk-like eyes that two of the talented Five Way Friday men were in attendance..that the keyboardist (that would be Steve) has a tendency to wander in and out of the crowd, which was random, yet fun..that the crowd was mixed with all ages, genders, and styles of people...that "leather jacket man," as I�ll refer to one random guy, was gettin� his groove on all by himself on the dance floor much to my amusement. SS In a nutshell (yeah, I know you�re thinking of Austin Powers right now, admit it), Flywater had a lot of energy and some really funky grooves.
