	I love rock n� roll. These guys really kicked ass at Wild Wings in Mt. Pleasant; I only wish the stage was ten times bigger to hold all of the energy that Big Black Building exerted the night we were there! Unsure at first of what to expect, what I ended up enjoying was a hearty dose of original rock music, with some excellent covers thrown in. These guys are NOT a "cover" band. Not by a long shot; they definitely create original music. The covers that they do perform are out of this world, tweaked to include BBB�s original style. Tanya remarked that she didn�t like Pink Floyd�s version of "Comfortably Numb," but absolutely loved the BBB version; and I absolutely dug the "Anarchy in the UK" cover. As for their originals--I�ve got their CD, "Tested," in my car right now and I�ve played it at least 3 times since I got it the other day. Personal favorites include "Pet" (which includes some damn good guitar playing) and "Too Slow." I�ll definitely look forward to hearing their new CD, tentatively due out sometime this summer. With a musical style that is definitely rock n� roll, BBB is made strong by excellent musicianship (I got a kick out of John�s Rolling Rock trick) and raw, emotional vocals. These guys have some loyal fans and I was not surprised to see people dancing and screaming for an encore. These guys play all over the area, so you really have no excuse not to see them (unless you don�t have a taste for excellent music and a great time). I love rock n� roll. SS
