-At the dawn of Transformer history, a group of 14 Autobots brought freedom to Cybertron by overthrowing the Quintessons in the name of Primus. One of that 14 was the Liege Maximo, who took a large group into space- they called themselves the Decepticons. They were warriors, designed able to transform and driven to destroy Unicron. They sought him out, found him and got their butts kicked.

-The remnants of the Liege Maximo's forcce conquer the K'Tor Cluster, a group of wormholes created by the ancient Fahl which gives them access  to 30+ galaxies other than our own (the Milky Way). In the next nearest galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud, he builds the Hub (a web of linked Cyberworlds). To his dismay, his forces are decimated again by the Fahl and the Nightstalkers when they tried to go through a wormhole into Fahl-space. 

-4, 000, 000 years ago, during the State Games period. Megatron, inspired by subliminal programming from Primus, creates the Decepticons & the ability to transform (believing it to be his idea rather than something thought of and forgotten before, and the first Decepticon movement), and sets out to conquer Cybertron and turn it into a mobile battle station to dominate the universe. He builds a large engine under Kalis to accomplish this.

-Megatron's engine is badly built and knnocks Cybertron loose from Alpha Centauri, towards Earth- this was Primus' plan, as now Unicron is unable to find Cybertron. The asteroid belt threatens to destroy the planet, the Ark is launched and Prime & Megatron crash on Earth.

-Trannis succeeds Megatron on Cybertron and finishes conquering the planet. Xaaron leads the surviving Autobot resistance underground. He plans to create a grand galactic empire of Decepticons, and assembles his best generals to help him with this plan- Skyquake, Jhiaxus, Straxus, Thunderclash, Deathsaurus and Star Saber. The Nanobot Collectiveness reveal to him the forgotten secret of biomorphic replication, which releases Nanobots when it occurs; they want his Empire to spread them throughout the universe. The replication process, unfortunately, dilutes the Matrix-Nanobots of those who do it and eventually results in nothing but amoral drones.

-The Wreckers assassinate Trannis. Jhiaxxus succeeds him, and decides Cybertron has outlived its usefulness. He leads the bulk of the Decepticon
 army into space (Straxus is left behind, deemed unfit for the new empire, and he takes control of most of Cybertron- warlords Thunderwing and Scorponok remain mostly independent of him). They meet the Liege Maximo, replenish his numbers, and Jhiaxus, Star Saber, Thunderclash, Skyquake and Deathsaurus become Liege Centuro's. The Imperial territory in the Milky Way is divided between them. Other Liege Centuro's rule territory in other galaxies in the wormhole network. They now call themselves the Cybertronian Empire and begin Cyberforming planets- they believe that the only way to stop Unicron from destroying all life is to make sure all life is robotic and that every planet is able to repel the Chaos-Bringer.

-In 1993-4, the Autobots and Decepticonss stumble across space administered by Jhiaxus. Jhiaxus and the bulk of his fleet are destroyed by the Swarm, a feral group of Nanobots.

-In 1995, the Autobots and Decepticons ddiscover the extent of the Empire in the Milky Way galaxy, and the location of the Hub.

-In 1996, Unicron, though unable to assuume robot form, has regenerated himself sufficiently to take advantage of the newly revealed location of the
 Hub to travel there and devour it. The Autobots make overtures to Liege Centuro Thunderclash, who has peacefully lived in his sector of the Milky
 Way for millions of years. The Liege Maximo flees the doomed Hub to Cybertron and links himself to Primus, subverting both Optimus and Megatron, but Optimus regains his wits, and together with the Decepticons and Thunderclash's Imperial defectors, rout the Liege Maximo's forces. In the end it is Thunderclash who kills his old Emperor. Unicron remains at large and unleashes a mind-gap that slowly causes Transformers to forget about him, so they will be ill-prepared for his next attack on Cybertron.

-With the Hub and Liege Maximo gone, eveery Liege Centuro now rules effectively an independent mini-empire and is free to choose his own destiny, which leads to a lot of pointless in-fighting. To counter Prime's new Star Former allies led by Thunderclash, Megatron first allies himself to and then usurps the Dominator forces of Skyquake. The Autobots make a peace treaty with Star Saber and his Legion of New Cybertron, but not an alliance. The Destrons under Deathsaurus remain independent. 

-In 2005, Galvatron rises to power. He now controls the Dominator's and eventually brings them to ruin.

-In 2013 (Eugenesis), Thunderclash is kiilled. The bulk of his fleet withdraws from the alliance with the Autobots and returns to its own peaceful
 sector of the Galaxy and establishes an isolationist policy under new ruler Skyhammer.

-With Cybertron in ruins following the QQuintesson invasion, the Autobots appeal to Star Saber, who comes and takes control. He sets about rebuilding, and creating a new population via biomorphic reproduction.

- Fearswoop and Calcar realise the damage Galvatron is doing to the Dominators, and so run away with two E-100 Battle Cruisers full of fighter ships. Eventually they put Clench in charge of their group, recruitment more troops and wage guerrilla war on the Autobots. They suffer from a severe lack of members- most of their ships just lie there gathering dust.
