Waspinator eventually left prehistoric Earth and somehow ended up back on Cybertron... and was felled by Megatron's virus. His spark was removed and eventually placed within the body of a modified Cycle Drone. General Thrust was born.

Thrust showed loyalty to Megatron's insane ideals, and a brooding and intelligent personality. This did not help him against the Maximals and especially not against Blackarachnia, who tried to reformat him, believing him to be Silverbolt. He eventually escaped and after the Plasma Energy Chamber incident, he and Jetstorm found themselves to be the only surviving Vehicons on the planet. They went off on their own for a while, before Megatron returned. Thrust showed a knack for surviving, but soon grew bitter from the death of his friend Jetstorm and the creation of the stand-offish Strika and Obsidian. He still struggled grimly on until he was killed in the planet-wide reformatting and the Waspinator spark awoke once more.

PROFILE:  A smart and gothic Vehicon; Thrust is undoubtedly the brains of the original generals, and yet remains loyal to Megatron. This loyalty to the genocide campaign is at odds with the Primus-formed Waspinator spark, therefore making him edgy, brooding and dark. He is loathe to follow orders, except from Megatron and the only other Transformer he relates to is his comrade Jetstorm. He is often heard muttering the nihilistic phrase "To think is to say no."

ABILITIES: He is fast, smart and agile, moreso than any other land-based Vehicon; in both modes, he can reach speeds of Mach 1. He has a large amount of fire power; plasma blasters are located in his wheel and are fired when he does a wheelie, and in robot mode his left arm doubles as a rapid fire energy pulse weapon while the right one contains a hook. He also shows incredible survival skills.

WEAKNESSES: His dark and brooding atmosphere makes socialising hard for him and his resentment of his friend Jetstorm's reformatting (and Megatron not doing anything about it) puts him instantly at odds with Strika and Obsidian. These traits make him sloppier and more ineffectual as the Beast Machines war continues.
