SCharlesBiz - Spam Warning
SCharlesBiz - Spam Warning
SPAM is flooding the Internet with a number of copies of the same message. The messages almost inevitably go to those who did not request it. By sending SPAM, you can and will most likely be placed on a blacklist (messages being rejected when you send them) which can affect mail from all other users in Cayman. Most SPAM mail contains sexually explicit material, and other possibly illegal material. Please refrain from using E-Mail for advertising.

For further information see: spam.abuse.net

Commercial advertising is an accepted use of the Internet. However, there are appropriate and inappropriate places for Internet advertising. Unsolicited commercial advertisements are not allowed in email, and will result in account suspension or cancellation. Customers are explicitly prohibited from sending unsolicited bulk mail messages ("junk mail" or "spam"). This includes, but is not limited to, bulk-mailing of commercial advertising, informational announcements, and political tracts. Such material may only be sent to those who have explicitly requested it.

The use of unsolicited bulk email or spam is strictly prohibited!
Please note that we do not endorse spam in any way. Especially if you are a reseller of any of our products or if you advertise any product that links to this website though spam.

Spammers are caught 100% of the time in the present internet. Though still not unlawful in some places, it is now possible to press civil charges for spam. The penalty can be a monetary value as much as $25,000 in some states in the US. If you are unable to pay the fines levied against you by the courts, you are considered "In Contempt" of the court, and can get 60-750 days in jail.

Here are just a few examples of what can be considered as spam:

  • Sending any unsolicited commercial email, even a single one, is considered spam.
  • Sending bulk email-yes, the vendors of these lists tell you it's not spam but it is.
  • Subscribing to a safe list more than once. This sounds harsh, but it's the reality, especially if you are placing the same ad which makes it very easy for the moderator to track you.
  • Sending your ad more times than is specified in the list guidelines.
  • Using an auto responder address to subscribe to safe lists.
  • Responding to a safe list offer with your own ad, either through the safe list or directly to an individual.
  • Resubscribing once you have been unsubscribed from a list due to violation of list guidelines.

  • Any other unsolicited messages for commercial purposes.
