Banana cake
2 ripe bananas
150 grams/1.5 cup margarine or butter
100 grams/0,5 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon ginger
250 grams flour/2 cups
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 grams dark+milk chocolate for coating
Mash the bananas with a fork. Mix the melted margarine with the sugar and the eggs one by one and the mashed bananas. Also add the ginger. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the rest. Pour the mass into a baking tin and bake it at 175 Celsius for about 40 minutes. When ready melt the chocolate and coat the cake with it.

Vanillin-marzipan chocolate cake
100 grams dark chocolate
50 grams lemon peel
2 vanilla beans
5 eggs (whites, yolks separated
150 grams marzipan mass
150 grams/1,5 cup margarine or butter
150 grams/1,3 cups sugar
150 grams/1,2 cups flour
50 grams/2,5 cups chopped almond
a pinch of salt
for the coating:
200 grams dark chocolate
50 grams whipping cream
50 grams confectioner's sugar
1 tbsp honey
chopped pistachio or walnut to put on top
Melt the chocolate, grate the lemon, cut  the vanilla beans and scratch out the content. Cut up the marzipan mass into small pieces and mix it with the margarine and sugar. Add the vanillin, the yolks, the chocolate and blend them well.
Mix the flour with the lemon peel, chopped almond. Add it to the yolk, vanilin etc. mix. Whip the whites and add the whip to the mass. Pour the pastry into a cake tin and bake it at 175 Celsius/347 Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Let it cool. For the coating melt the chocolate and add the whipping cream, the confectioner's sugar and the honey, boil the mix and blend them well. Let it cool a little bit then spread it on the cake.

Sacher cake
250 grams margarine and butter
120 grams confectioner's sugar
120 grams sugar
250 grams dark chocolate
12 eggs (yolks, whites)
180 grams breadcrumbs
200 grams apricot
for the coating:
300 grams confectioner's sugar
250 grams dark chocolate
80 grams water
Mix the melted margarine with the yolks, and the confec. sugar. Add the melted chocolate too. Whip the whites to stiff peaks with the sugar and add it to the cream of margarine, yolks etc. Add the breadcrums carefully too. Pour the pastry into a cake tin and bake it at 180 celsius/ 356 Fahrenheit for about 50 min. Cut the cake in two crosswise and spread apricot jam between the two halves. To make the coating:bring to boil the mix of confec. sugar, chocolate and water and stir it continuously. Take it off the hob and continue stirring it until it is thick enough. Evenly spread the coating on the cake.
