Isaac Denlinger (1836-1910) had a older sister Susannah Denlinger (1834-1913) who
married Benjamin Brubaker of Clark County in 1855. Benjamin and Susannah
lived in the Donnels Creek Church community of Clark County. Benjamin was a
deacon (elected 1866) and a minister (elected 1873) at Donnels Creek. Isaac
Denlinger would have been familiar with the Donnels Creek community through
his older sister Susannah. He would have met Diannah Frantz at Donnels
Creek since Diannah's father, Benjamin Frantz, was a deacon at Donnels Creek
from 1845. Isaac and Diannah were married in 1858 and lived out their lives
in Montgomery County. Isaac was a deacon for about 25 years in the Lower
Stillwater Church.
