Having more than a fair share of the members subscribing to Far Eastern Religions (well, all the ninjas anyway) It's no surprise that the chaplin asigned to the Joe team would reflect that.

Monk was attending the Chaplin's assistant school, to present a class on Eastern Religions, when a Cobra Attack forced him to draw his sword in the defence of the Chaplin's Assistants. Hawk was so impressed by the calmness of mind, swiftness of sword, and the overall size of Monk, that he instantly transfered him to the team.

Another lazy custom, but one that I really enjoyed making. I love how it worked out.
