| Head: Torch (Yes, Torch) Torso, arms, waist, legs: Double Blast Rather than just attaching a Cobra symbol to a tired old Snake Eyes, I wanted a different take on him. It started with a post on the old Bivouac board about the absence of African Americans in Cobra's ranks. I set out to make a generic type cobra with a Double Blast body. Then I got 3 copies of Torch's head in a series of trades. Wondering what the heck to do with such an obviously recognizable head, I planed and sanded it down into a "Snake Eyes" like helmet and visor. The Cobra symbol is a scaned and printed sticker, treated with a substancial quantity of gloss coat. |
