Defretting a bass

I created the web page in order to share my experience with defretting and converting a 5 string jazz bass to fretless. And finally, after three years of it existing as a solid graphic page, I have re-modeled it to be a bit more user friendly.

A fretless conversion is actually not as difficult as you might think. Although I will say that a great deal of patience and persistence must be applied if you are going to attempt to do this.

Please don't attempt this on a bass that you can't live without!!
