Thirdly, this website is entirely non-profit. It has been built by Chesterton enthusiasts and admirers of "The Club of Queer Trades" for both those familiar with G.K Chesteton and those unfamilar. It has no ulterior motives and no desire to amass wealth in the future.
More importantly, all information on this site (except of course the explanatory page and this one) is completely fictitious. This means that old Basil won't be banging on your door offering you his moral judicial services, nor will you be able to hire any Professional Detainers through this site. All club members, guests, and most trades (as of now) existed entirely in the imagination of G.K Chesterton and have never taken human shape or form. If you happen to join the "Club of Queer Trades" either as a member (you must have a new trade to be granted membership) or recurring guest, you will join quite a small list consisting only of other "Club of Queer Trades" devotees.
