Poems Below: Twlight's Call---For Us He Died---Falling Leaves

"Twlight's Call"

Tis twlight now and evening's call
As we sit beside the water fall,
My thoughts wonder back to days gone by
When one by one they seemed to fly.

I think of times when we were young
About the many songs we have sung
Of peaceful hours we've spent togather
Under skies of grey and in sunny weather.

A true companion to me you've been,
My most nearest and dearest friend
Should we not see another day
You know I love you,my darling Mae.

Then the stars came out to peep
Leaving two seasoned lovers,falling asleep
To dream of times so sweet to recall
Loving here in the eve of twlight's call.

"For Us He Died"

Upon the cross our Savior died
For our sins He was crucified
He gave his life for you and me
To suffer our sins to set us free
God in His power and amazing grace
Gave His only son to die in our place
Rejoicing,we sang, from the grave he arose
Rising to triumph over death and foes
His blood will cleanse us from all sins
If we only believe and trust in Him.

"Falling Leaves"

Today pretty leaves came falling down
And landed softly on the ground
Shades of red,brown and gold
A beautiful site to behold
It's seemes no time since it was spring
When these same leaves were green
First tiny buds,then blossoms came
All leaves looking the very same
Big oak trees so stately and tall
King of the forest, the grandest of all.
