Your Full Time Retirement

Gone are the days of getting paid
For a schedule from 8 till 5
Time for leisure and much pleasure
And there's that new RV to drive

With a life of willing and full of giving
You cater to those with needs
Like sunlight turning night into morning
And raising the flowers from the seeds

Unscheduled chores will certainly be yours
As soon as you are awake
Up at seven and busy till eleven
To get to that morning break

With each day ending you start pretending
That tomorrow you'll sleep late
Then friends will call and that's not all
Those family requests can't wait

If this is a requirement of being in retirement
Then a way out for you is best
Back to full time employment for some enjoyment
Where you can get that needed rest.
