"A Kiss,A Slap And A Goodbye"

In the park I went walking to do some talking
To the first girl I could meet
A young lady came by and gave me the eye
Pretty enough to put my manners to sleep

I whipped around to cover some ground
Overtaking her what ever the cost
My fast introduction got me her instructions
Telling me where to go to get lost

Now I'm sort of a guy who is kind of shy
When it comes to push and shove
So after several chances of trying new advances
She thought I was nicer than I really was

Then friendly persuation set the occasion
For sitting and talking on a park bench nearby
Right then to my surprise I begin to realize
That she was believing my every lie

Taking advantage of a situation by my own creation
I edged closer to her than we really were
She didn't move away,so I thought it was OK
To continue my intension to make love to her

So with gentle care to avoid conflicts there
I softly kissed her on the cheek
Then I waited for reaction to my passion
Not daring to breathe or to speak

Suddenly she made a hard impression on my anticipation
That got me thinking to wondering why
This ole fool had to come along where he didn't belong
For a kiss,a slap and a goodbye
