Here is a little about me!
Hello, thank you for visiting my web page. My name is Charlie Carpenter. I was born
September 11, 1979 in Dennison, Ohio. I live in New Philadelphia, Ohio and attend Heidelberg
College in Tiffin, Ohio. I am a 1998 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. I am currently a full time
student at Heidelberg College where I am majoring in middle childhood education with a background in
mathematics and science.
I have been an active member of the Boy Scouts of America since I turned eleven years old. I am
an Eagle Scout and I hold two palms. Since my eighteenth birthday I have been a member of Troop 90, of
the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio, as an adult leader.
As a student in high school I was involved in many activities. I was a member of the cross-
country and track teams. As a student in college I am a member of the cross-country, indoor, and outdoor
track teams.
After graduation from Heidelberg College in May 2002, I hope to get a job teaching 8th grade science
in the New Philadelphia City Schools system. I also hope to coach cross country and track.
