Symbolon
Absolutely fantastic and one of my favorites. All the cards are beautiful. Not technically a tarot deck, as it does not have the standard set of major arcana and minor arcana.
A symbolon is an object broken into two parts which want to be reunited. The deck's purpose is to help the user integrate his/her inner personae. The deck is expressly not a divination tool but a tool of self-discovery, remembrance, they call it. It is dedicated to Mnemosyne, the Goddess of Memory and Mother of the Muses.
It starts with twelve pure archetypes, then expands into sub-types that combine qualities of the twelve. The pure archetypes are the Warrior, the Lover, the Mediator, the Mother, the Ego, the Servitor, the Partner, the Seducer, the Preacher, the Master, the Jester, and the Angel. The sub-types describe the great realms of human existence, where inner personae are combinations of yin and yang, anima and animus, the feminine and the masculine.
