  1. Dialogues: with events, people, pets, one's body, dream images, characters that are elements of your personality, one's younger or older self, important objects in one's life
  2. Unsent letters
  3. Different point of view: use "she" instead of "I"
  4. Guided imagery
  5. Map of consciousness: a drawing of your inner self
  6. Portraits
  7. Lists: of feelings, events, things you're afraid of, your friends, things that make you happy, beliefs and non-beliefs, life's stepping stones
  8. Reflectioni: musings, self-observation, contemplation
  9. Free intuitive writing
  10. Description: of feelings, sensual details, events, interactions
  11. Catharsis: dump anger, grief, lust, greed
  12. Brain Dump: everything you're feeling, thinking, and doing
