I know that nobody is really interested in what I have to say. But it gives me a chance to brag about what I'm doing crafting wise. 

I joined All_Crafts_4_Charity yahoo group a few months ago and have learned there is way  more need out in the world then I can even begin to help.   Each month there is a  charity project that we all volunteer to  make things for, October was the neonatel intensive care unit and the Wounded Warrior program at Balboa Hospital. We were making slippers and preemie baby clothes.  Well, I attempted to make slippers. My first attempt at following an established pattern. They actually turned out pretty good.   

Traffic has been so bad that I easily spend 1 -1 1/2 hours commuting to work each way, so I've been keeping myself busy crocheting doll accessories-hats, booties and scarfs.  I like taking public transporation, no hassles of driving in traffic with all those other crazy people.
