My heart hurts tonight, It�s heavy like a stone. It�s hard to breathe, I feel so all alone� There�s a lump in my throat, There�s a tear on my cheek, There�s a knot in my stomach, A love I didn�t mean to seek. So now what do I do? Accept and move on? Lie to myself? Say the feelings are gone? Do I just go away? Leave you be? Run away in the night? Take my love and flee? So, my heart hurts tonight. It�s broken, let it be known. 			Beautiful creature Of the night Stalked by tigers, Trembles in fright. Turns to madness, No end in sight. Looks for shelter In dawn�s new light Patiently awaiting, Her dark knight. His grasp is stronger Than those of white. Her love is pure, Though evil in spite. Her heart is heavy, Perplexed and contrite. He can save her from tigers, But not from his blight. He whisks her away, To his castle�s height. Inside the turret, He locks her tight. Only wanting her for Physically delight. She weeps in the shadows, Because of her plight.
