Welcome to the newest version of my home page, The Writer's Block! Unfortunately, it's still the pre-release beta :P It's getting there slowly.
Even more so since I'm designing it to conform to the stricter XHTML 1.0 standard. What's that mean? A lot of editing by hand =)

As the more astute among you have probably surmised, I am a writer, if a little known one. In the past, I have done poetry and plays, but have recently decided to turn my attention to writing a book. If it turns out well, I might actually make something off my creative talents!

Let's face it--there's little money to be made in poetry any more, which is a real shame. It's even worse for plays unless you write one that'll be a hit on Broadway. Thus, I feel books are the way to go for those who want to make a career in writing. Guess we'll see how much THAT advice is worth after I finish my book and see what the publishers have to say...

I also write computer code, concentrating primarily on C/C++ and Perl at this point. Hopefully, I'll eventually have a few programs up for people to download and play with. So much writing to do, so little time.

The links over on the left will help get you around the site. The name of each has a hint to what you'll find, but the hint isn't always obvious. Sometimes, you just have to find things out for yourself :)
