Personality: Well, this girl is certainly no lady. She walks like no lady, talks like no lady, and certainly does not act like one. She gets into regular fights, or brawls would be the better word, rarely winning though often having a good time, which is one of her favourite things to dojust enjoy herself and her life. Shes a talkative person, who enjoys exploring and just disobeying her sisters rules and orders, as well as those of her sisters mate. She is not easily swayed and even when Naphim brings up the past she holds her ground, often just nodding and holding the crooked grin of hers. Tiphin will gladly get her hands dirty and doesnt hesitate in doing a messy job. She enjoys hunting and often skins, guts, and cuts her catches promptly after catching them. Shes an excelling swimmer, who quite enjoys a frolic with the local dolphins. When in a bad mood though, she can often become just as dangerous as Naphim, or maybe even more so. She may not have the power of authority, but shes got more than enough physical power to make up for it. Shes quite smart, with sharp wits and a cool intellect. Shes one to be wary of
History: Tiphin was born shortly after her brother, Triph, was. She wasnt spoiled by her parents and, to say the least, was disfavoured by them. She was given a masculine name and always made to do more masculine jobs and activities and Tiphin almost thanks them for doing it. She had always been jealous of Naphim until she saw how the woman had turned out. It makes her shiver to think shes related to a woman like Naphim. As a teenager, she worked runnerbeasts and herdbeasts, finding it quite enjoyable. And even at that age she was getting into a lot of brawls. Of course, this gained her a fair amount of disfavour from more people than just her parents and fellow siblings. Soon enough she up and left the Hold, it was off to the Weyr, this happened when she was 19. She was Searched, which was why she left, and stood the hatching of one of Habranths hatchings, Impressing her beloved Supremeth. To say the least, Naphim was not happy having her disgraceful little sister in the Weyr and often denied that they were related, which was just fine with Tiphin because she would rather it be that way. You see, shes as disgraced by Naphim as Naphim is of her. But what can you do? Tiphin now regularly flies as far away from the Weyr as she can and tries to steer clear from her sister.
Location: Southern Weyr
Rank/Occupation: Brownrider, Beasthandler
Impress? Already has
Dragons Name: Supremeth
Age: 5
Colour: Brown
Appearance: Supremeth is the size of an average brown, though with a quite unique colouration. His hide is a rather dusty brown, dusted with what is an almost sandy colour over most of his upper body. A single splash of beige is on the left side of his face, looking as though paint had been tossed at him. He is quite a handsome brown though, with a regal carriage and a nice bulk about him.
Personality: He is a loyal dragon, with a level personality, though hell fight just as well as His sometimes. Hes ruthless in Fall or in a fight of any sort and shows Habranth the same disregard His does to Naphim. Hes not haughty though, but slightly rebellious and as adventurous as Tiphin. He enjoys swimming too and the easiest way to tell you his personality is by saying hes almost exactly like His.
Sample RP Post:
Hey Phim. Tiphin strolled casually over to her sister, that crooked grin on her features as she stood no more than three feet from her sister, the Weyrwoman. She was the only person who dared to call her Phim, because she was the only one who dares fight back against herexcept Mkar of course. I must say you are looking prim and proper dear, as usual. Phin strolled over to a table and poured herself a mug of sweet, cool juice, gulping it down quickly. She had been out flying all morning and had just arrived home; she was totally parched! She set the mug back down on the table, none to gently, and licked her lips. Ways of bothering Naphim further ran through her mind, and a few of them stood out. She ruffled her hair, causing a fine cloud of dust to rise and slowly settle back to the floor and Tiphins head.
{Mine, you are purely evil.}
[Not evil Sup, justmean. If she wants to be a prissy, spoiled little Weyrwoman, so be it. Im just here to make her life a little bit harder and messier.]
{Of course Phin, of course.} The brown chuckled mentally and soared from the feeding grounds down to the shores, where he landed and stretched out on the hot sand to soak up some of the rays. Tiphin looked at her sisters disgusted look and watched as Naphim took three big steps back, eyes a mixture of anger and terror.
Get away from me you filthy person.
Thats not nice Phim. Im not filthy; Im just a personhuman. We all get dirty Phimmy, why cant you? The look of terror in Phims eyes grew slightly, but left quickly as Mkar suddenly appeared. Tiphin chuckled as Naphim erected herself and glowered at Phin. Mkar shot a dark glare at Phin, but the young woman didnt acknowledge it.
Brownrider Tiphin, I suggest you get back to your duties.
Ive been flying sweeps all morning Weyrleader; its about time I take a break. Why dont you go do your duties instead of pleasuring yourself. She grimaced and glared at Mkar, she hated the womanizer.
{Thats harsh Mine.}
[So? Hes a total Bitran! Shards! He has no respect for women!]
{I think the entire Weyr knows that Phin, but there isnt anything we can do about it.}
[Oh well!] Mkar was far from happy by being told such a thing by an inferior rider! A female brownrider of all people! He snarled and shot a poison glare at Phin, causing her to only take a tiny step back.
Shut your mouth and go do something instead of harassing the Weyrwoman! Get out of here before I have to force you!
Of course, Lord Mkar. Phin rolled her eyes and bowed low to the man, adding an unnecessary flourish to it. Shall a grovel off, or just back away respectively sir? She grumbled and spoke to him, still in the bow.
Just go!
Yes! Just go you filthy piece of Thread! Phin grinned and spun on her heel, marching off, trying to keep herself from laughing until she was out of earshot of the two high strung, high powered, and high headed Weyrleaders. She headed to her weyr and once she reached it, she broke out into a huge fit of laughter, She had to lean against a wall to keep herself upright she was laughing so hard. She knew she had struck a nerve with Mkar, and she always struck a nerve with Naphim.
{Did you enjoy yourself Mine?}
[Iveneverseenanythingso---FUNNY!] Phins words were choppy as she spoke through the mirth. It made Supremeth rumble in his chest.
{Glad you enjoyed yourself. But may I ask what is so funny?}
[The look on Mkars face! He was shocked! I SO struck a nerve with him!]
{Phin, sometimes you act more like a weyrbrat than a brownrider.}
[I know! But its so much fun! I cant help it!] Tiphin wiped away mirthful tears, laughter finally dying from her lips. Her sides and cheeks hurt from laughing so hard! She shook her head and got herself a wineskin, one of the several she kept stored in her room. She poured herself a mug of the intoxicating, red fluid and sipped at it. She sunk into a comfy chair, sighing happily. Her mean little attack on Naphim for the day had been fulfilled. Hmmmthis wine was quite goodvery good in fact. Could it possibly be some of the rare Benden vintage? She shrugged, it was entirely possible. She drank only two mugs of it, knowing that Supremeth would kill her if she got even near a drunken state. Once done her two cups, she put the skin away and washed the mug before heading out into the sunlight again.
[Come on Sup! I guess we should fly more weeps, or do something.]
{A grand idea.} The brown lifted off from his sunning spot and soared gracefully through the skies towards his weyr, in front of which His stood and waited for him. The brown back winged, stirring up a lot of sand, causing His to shield her face with a bare armno wonder why her hair was so dusty. Phin smiled and leapt onto her dragons back, Sup taking off just as she got onto his back. She clutch the harness for balance during the swift take off, but soon the brown had levelled off and flew steady. She strapped herself in and patted the brown neck heartily.
[A nice take off, but couldnt you have waited until I was actually on your back, like balanced?]
{I wanted to test your reflexes.}
[You know my reflexes are better than that of a wild cat Sup.]
{It was more to see how much you drank there Phin.}
[Oh. I only had two mugs.]
{Ok then. Where shall we be off to?}
[Why not down to Cove Hold?]
{Sounds good to me. Wait a secondare you going to pour over more old Records?}
[No]
{Phin}
[Ok, yes, I am going to pour over more Records. I must find out as much as I can. Pern today is nothing like it once was, when Flar and Lessa reigned. They knew things we did not and I must try to figure out what they are.]
{Why not leave it to Harpers?}
[Because, I want to know it for myself.]
{Have you found anything of use?}
[No, not really. But enough talk, lets go]
{To Cove Hold!} Just as Sup finished her sentence, they went between, the dragon having memorized Cove Hold, since His spent much time there, pouring constantly over old Records. How she had not found anything yet, the brown didnt know. She had been doing this for several months now and still nothing? There must be lots of Records to go through. Oh well, just leave it up to Tiphinshe would figure things out soon enough
