The Ryan Newman Foundation was founded by Ryan and his wife Krissie in January 2005. The aim is to provide great efforts that would enrich the lives of people and animals throughout the nation. There are three primary focuses of the foundation. The first being programs to reduce the overpopulation and euthanization of unwanted dog and cats. Increase adoption of pets, provide humane education, and preventing cruelty to animals.

The third is to provide scholarships for students pursuing a degree at a university or college while continuing their involvement in quarter midget, midget and Silver Crown auto racing.
