Chapel of the Holy Mother
Prayers to the Holy Mother
Holy Mother, we pray for peace in the Middle East.
Let us give thanks to God, whom, for the salvation of men, hath sacrificed his One and Holy Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We give thanks for His love, personified in Christ and ever with us in the Holy Spirit.

Let us remember too the love of the Holy Mother, who, in all times, yielded to God's will in love, not fear.  We thank her for her deeds bourne out of love for men and ask that she intercede for all who pray to her and for all mankind.

Lord, in your Mercy, hear our prayer.
     The Angelus

The Angel of the Lords brought tidings to Mary,
And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee,
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of they womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord
Be it unto me according to thy word.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee,
blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death.
Amen.

And the word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee,
blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and in the hour of our death, Amen.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ They Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the Glory of His Resurrection.  Through the same Christ Our Lord.  Amen.
The love of God is manifest in all things and all things are bound in love.  The Mother of God, born of God's will and God's live, free from the sin that taints mortal men, gave birth to God's Son.  And such a person, who gives birth to that love in, by and with such love, can never die, and is bound to God as all things are and shall ever be.  To Christ, her Son, and she we cry for help in these, the dangerous hours of life; a toil worked among the traps and snares of sin and self-worth.

O Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

        The Magnificat

My soul doth magnify the Lord.  And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaind; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
And his mercy is from generation unto generation those that fear him.
He hath shewed might in his arm:  he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the Humble.
he hath filled the hungry with good things;
and the rich he hath sent empty away.
He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy:  As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.
