| Announcements: Eid party on Saturday 9-26-09 at 6PM. No weekly gathering on Friday 9-25-09. Activities: We meet for Quran classes, socialization and youth activities at the Shared Learning Building of the Church of Reconciliation on Elliott Road in Chapel Hill, on Fridays 7:00 PM, except on last Friday of the month. Instead of last Friday, the meeting will be on Saturday at 6PM. Please join us (directions). Program Schedule: 700-800 PM - Community get-together 800-830 PM - Maghrib salat 845-930 PM - Recitation, meaning and brief tafsir of a short sura 930-1000 PM - Isha salat About Us: We are a non-profit Islamic organization set up to build an Islamic Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We organize Islamic religious, educational and social activities for adults and youth, to promote Islamic way of life in our community and to provide a better understanding of Islam to individuals of other faith. Insha Allah, we hope to build an Islamic Center in Orange county. The 5 acre land is located adjacent to I-40 on New Jericho Road (map). We want every community member's dua, financial or what ever means of support to achieve this goal.
