A Love Story - Part One - By Aimee/CBminime

-A boy's father goes missing in Vietnam when Boy is 6. Boy's mom remarries and obviously Boy resents the new husband. Boy grows up.

-A girl's mother leaves Girl on her 15th birthday with her abusive alcoholic father. Girl becomes an alcoholic herself. Girl gets married to another drunk, but then has a realization, leaves her husband, and goes to dry out with her uncle in the desert. Girl grows up.

-Boy meets Girl in a Rose Garden. Boy and Girl have instant karma, and begin working together. Boy and Girl fall in love. Boy and Girl are both afraid to admit this, so Sexual Tension forms. Boy and Girl both begin to meet and date other Boys and Girls, even though Boy and Girl are in love with each other. Throughout the years, Boy and Girl had many moments where the Sexual Tension grew because of one almost admitting to the other their undying love, but then backing away. Then, Boy and Girl travel to Oz. Boy and Girl have another said moment, and Boy backs away again. Girl, thinking there cannot be anything between them, goes on a date with Another Boy. Another Boy proposes that night, and Girl places the Ring on her right hand (not on Girl's left, which is where the Ring typically goes) because Girl isn't sure how to respond. Sexual Tension has a giant growth spurt (he drank his milk), Boy gets Another Girl, who is a major slut,  and ten months later Girl moves the Ring over because Another Boy threatened to leave if she didn't. Girl didn't want to be left alone. Meanwhile, Boy has been patiently sitting on the sidelines (unhappy, of course!) not taking any action between them because Boy is too honorable to steal Another Boy's Girl, and cheat on Another Girl. A few more months pass, and Girl and Another Boy have an Engagement Party. Boy and Girl spend over 95% of the Engagement Party talking on the Porch outside. Boy and Girl talk about their friendship (5 years total have passed since they first met in a Rose Garden) and if Girl really loves Another Boy. Yet another Sexual Tension moment occurs. Boy kisses Girl, but Girl feels guilty (even though Girl still is deeply in love with Boy) because Girl is wearing Another Boy's Ring, so Girl goes back inside. Girl is still going to marry Another Boy, even though she knows she is in love with Boy (stupid is as stupid does). However, there is hope for our young lovers. The night before the Wedding, Boy is flying in a storm, crashes into the ocean, and is lost at sea. Girl, obviously in distress and bawling all over herself, postpones the Wedding. Boy is rescued from the ocean, comes back, but has some amnesia and only remembers Girl and the entire Wedding situation. Boy doesn't remember his coworkers, his boss, even Another Girl. Boy only can remember Girl, his only love. Boy regains his memory eventually. Another Boy then wants Girl to get married ASAP. Girl, who has come to her senses now, hesitates and wants to wait a bit. Another Boy, who has finally noticed how close Boy and Girl are, decides to leave. Girl goes into tears and goes to Boy's apartment. Boy and Girl talk about what to do, but before much is said, Boy's phone rings. Girl picks up. Another Boy has called to confirm his suspicions, jealous of the fact that Girl turns to her best friend and the person she truly loves and depends on: Boy. Another Boy is at the airport to fly back to Oz, Another Boy's hometown. Girl, not wanting Another Boy to leave (for some reason... hell if I know), goes to the airport to stop him. Girl sees Another Boy boarding plane. Another Boy sees her but does nothing and gets on the plane (YAY! The evil villain leaves!). Girl, bawling all over herself yet again (hell if I know...), calls Boy on her cell phone from the airport. Boy tells girl to Come To Him (yes, another Sexual Tension moment), so Girl goes to Boy's apartment. Meanwhile, Another Girl's father dies and Another Girl goes to Boy's apartment for comfort and support. Another Girl beats Girl there (grr). When Girl arrives, Another Girl is asleep on Boy's couch. Boy says that Boy and Girl cannot talk at that moment. Girl then builds a Wall to protect her heart. Girl leaves apartment building. It's raining - very hard. Standing outside Boy's apartment in the pouring rain, Girl looks up at Boy's apartment window to see Boy hugging Another Girl. Girl cries even harder, her tears mixing with the rain. (*sniffle*)

Trust me, it gets MUCH better from here!

A Love Story - Part Two - By Aimee/CBminime

-Boy goes to Another Girl's father's funeral with her, but comes back home weeks before she does. Meanwhile, Girl leaves to go far, far away (no, not to another galaxy, that's a different story entirely) and runs away from Boy and the rest of her life. Boy follows her as soon as he finds out she left. Boy finds girl and wants to finish The Talk (started earlier at Boy's apartment just before Girl left for the airport to catch Another Boy before he left for Oz - for some reason...). Girl, who as we recall has built the Wall already, declares that there is nothing between Boy and Girl. Girl asks Boy if he would give up Another Girl for Girl. Boy asks Girl what would happen if Boy did. Girl, realizing that he isn't going to step first, leaves Boy with his thoughts. Boy, still thinking Girl is in the room since Boy's back was facing the door Girl just exited through, answers with a yes. Boy turns around, realizes Girl is gone, and chases after her. Boy meets up with Girl, but cannot continue The Talk because now Boy and Girl are in public. Eventually, Boy and Girl both return home. Sexual Tension has taken some body building classes, if you know what I mean.

-Suddenly, Another Girl returns from her father's funeral with a Ring on her left hand. Boy is surprised (don't worry, Boy wasn't the one that gave it to her - he'd have to have had a lobotomy to ddo that), but isn't unhappy. (YAY! The other evil villain/slut leaves, too! There is a God...)

-Later, both Boy and Girl participate in a work-oriented marathon. Before the race, Boy and Girl both think they can beat the other, and just to prove he has the most inflated ego in the world, Boy gives Girl a six minute lead. After Boy (I could say he's now Boy With The Over-Inflated Ego, but that isn't anything new, so Boy is still Boy) says he can beat girl with a six-minute deficit of time, Boy's friend Bubble Boy (A/N: he doesn't live in a bubble. well, I guess he sometimes lives on something you could call a bubble, but that's just beside the point!) accidentally spills the beans about Another Girl and Boy splitting up (no, Boy didn't tell Girl yet... stupid idiot that he is). Girl, shocked, excuses herself and leaves the room.

-Race Day. Boy and Girl, competing for what they believe to be first place, cross the finish line in unison (that wasn't planned, it really wasn't). Both out of breath, Boy and Girl head over to stand underneath a tree. Girl asks Boy why Boy didn't tell Girl about him and Another Girl's breakup. Boy gives a lame excuse, then Girl asks where that leaves them and their relationship. Boy thinks that the love story is finally over. Girl says it's just the beginning. Boy replies with a big grin. Sexual Tension has gotten old, and with old age comes settling bones. Simply put, Sexual Tension just got a whole lot shorter and skinnier.

-Time passes, and soon it is Christmas. Boy and Girl are at a party, and they meet under the mistletoe. Use your imagination, folks. YAY! A few weeks later, Girl is talking with Bubble Boy. Bubble Boy wants to know what is going on between Girl and Boy. Girl gets annoyed and, to make sure Bubble Boy doesn't get wrong information, declares that she and Boy have not slept together (although she's thought about it... but don't go there, Girl). Bubble Boy still wants to know what's going on, or why isn't anything going on if there isn't. Girl says that it wouldn't work. Bubble Boy asks why. Girl replies, "Because I'm in love with him." Bubble Boy is a bit shocked, but not nearly as much as Girl. Girl is amazed that she finally voiced her thoughts, and then double checks with Bubble Boy by asking if she really did just say that. Bubble Boy is then sworn to secrecy by Girl, and Bubble Boy is also known to keep his word, especially when certain Bubble Boy Sixes are threatened.

-More time passes... and Boy and Girl are both on a ship at sea. They meet outside on the deck and talk. No, not The Talk. However, a moment of companionable silence and warm looks is shared, almost as reassurance to both Boy and Girl that there is still a spark between the two young lovers. No worries, as Another Boy once said.

A Love Story - Part Three - By Aimee/CBminime                                   you better be happy, bullseye! lol diters!!!

-Girl comes over to Boy's apartment to discuss something work-related (yeah, suuuuure we believe ya there, Girl.) with Boy over dinner. No, don't consider this a date because it just ISN'T. Girl and Boy playfully argue over a work issue, and to resolve the argument, Boy draws a coin to flip. Boy flips the coin in the air, where it comes to rest on the ground instead of the table. Boy and Girl crouch down to grab it at the same time and bump heads (lightly, as in it's CUTE, okay?). Boy asks if Girl is okay, which Girl replies by saying she's fine but she lost the argument (the coin wasn't in her favor). Boy then says "I'll be gentle." Girl: "Don't be gentle, be good." Boy and Girl share The Look, then chuckle softly.

-A week after that, Boy and Girl are at work about to get off for the day. Boy and Girl are both exhausted, and Boy asks Girl if she wants to go out for dinner. Yes, consider this a date because it just IS. (YAY!) However, Boy and Girl haven't gone as far to consider themselves boyfriend/girlfriend yet. But don't lose hope yet, for our young lovers have just begun their adventures as a couple.

-Boy and Girl are in Afghanistan (Please don't ask how Boy and Girl got there, that just ruins the surprise, okay?). Girl is driving with Boy as copilot. Girl avoids a goat in the middle of the road and drives off into a minefield. Boy is thrown out of the jeep. Boy tries to walk back to the jeep.

*click*

Boy has stepped on a mine.

A Love Story - Part Four - By Aimee/CBminime

Boy has stepped on a mine, but because it's a different type of mine that only blows up when you take your foot OFF it (besides placing your foot on it and the mine immediately going off - that would just suck for our boy Boy here... haha... okay shutting up.), Boy hasn't been blown to bits and pieces yet. Boy looks down, and then up at his love, Girl. (Okay I'm gonna temporarily switch to just dialogue here...)

Boy: "Did you hear that?"
Girl: "Uh-huh. Boy are you lucky."
"Why, I didn't just step on a mine?"
"No, you're standing on a mine. It's just not pressure detonated like the others. Probably a Soviet butterfly mine"
"So what does that mean, it won't detonate until I take my foot off it?"
"Right."
"So how does that make me lucky?"
"Well you're still alive, aren't you?"
"Yeah, so long as I don't move my foot I am!"
"Okay, we'll come up with something."
"You figure they mined that slope?"
"Probably not, It's too steep."
"Could you go up there? On the far side of the big mountain is base camp. Bring back help."
"I wouldn't get there until morning! And you're not gonna stand all night in the freezing cold!"
"What other choice do I have?"
"Well, something better than that!"
"There is nothing better than that. Now go!"
"No. I'm not leaving. ....... We replace your weight... with something heavy... like this ammo box!"
"The ammo box doesn't weigh anything near what I do!"
"It doesn't have to. it just has to be heavy enough to delay the mine until you can get to the other side of the jeep."
"Okay now what? It's too heavy for you to hand it to me."
Girl looks at Boy, and then jumps out of the jeep.
"GIRL!!!" (panic) "You could've killed us both!"
"Yeah, but I didn't. Okay, I'm gonna put my weight on the ammo box. I'll slide it forward, you slide your foot back, okay?"
Girl slides the ammo box forward with all her weight on it, while Boy slides his foot back, off the mine. But now, what is Girl supposed to do?

A Love Story - Part Five - By Aimee/CBminime

Girl: "Okay. I got it. Take cover."
Boy grabs girls arm and uses one foot to step on the ammo box. Boy is standing and Girl is crouching. Girl looks up at Boy. Its The Look.
Boy: "You take cover."
"What?!... Why do you have to be so damn macho?"
"Look, can I get over the jeep faster from up here than you can from down there?"
(exasperated) "Probably..."
"Then I'm not being macho, I'm just being practical."
"You know sometimes you can be infuriating?"
"I know. Now go."
The Look again.
Girl: "Good luck."
Boy: "Thanks."
Girl crawls over to the other side of the jeep, keeping The Look the entire time. Boy places both feet on the ammo box and prepares to leap toward the jeep.

*dramatic, climactic music...*

Boy leaps onto the hood. The mine detonates. At the same time, Boy is rolling over the hood and lands on the other side stomach down on top of Girl. (aheh... 'pardon me, ma'am.'). He stays where he is, shielding her from any flying debris from the detonation. As the dust clears, Boy asks girl if she is okay, which she is. All is well with our young couple, who are alive and well. However, the Jeep has not fared so well. The tires are shredded, so Boy and Girl will have to continue on foot.

-Later that day (as in just after sunset):

Boy and Girl, being too far away from base camp to walk, decide to make camp for the night...

"Tune In Next Week..."
lol not in a week, but prolly tomorrow if someone reminds me. nightynight!

A Love Story - Part 6 - "The Explanation" - By Aimee/CBminime

Well, for those of you who want to see the continuation of the BOY AND GIRL saga, tune in to CBS on Tuesday nights 7:00 pm CST for JAG, a hit series featuring Boy and Girl (aka Harm and Mac). To my friends: HAHA! And everyone was like "OMG that is the best story! So romantic!" but at the same time stating "Why do you watch JAG?! It's such a crappy show!" Hmm... what's wrong with this picture? Watch the freaking show, people! Also, tune in to USA Network at 6 pm CST for reruns. :-)

Ah yes, forgot the disclaimers! Boy and Girl's situations all belong to DPB and Paramount, etc etc. Basically, they aren't mine (gosh but if DJE were...). Everything is theirs, although I adapted the Boy and Girl tag to fool my friends! That's all, so buhbye.

-Aimee-
