If you have a big balloon you're just dying to try out, or if you just love to watch others try out those balloons that are as big as your house then
the National Balloon Festival is just for you! Held in Statesville of scenic North Carolina, the Balloon Fest is for balloon lovers both big and small,
veteran or amateur from all over the country.
The National Balloon Festival is one of the oldest balloon rallies in the world! The Rally features an arts and crafts festival complete with ceramics, jewelry, handmade crafts and more. It also features entertainment, children's rides, and tethered balloon rides.
Admission is $10 per person at the gate, and parking is $2. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $5 at the Statesville Chamber of Commerce, or at their webpage www.statesvillechamber.org.
