Is A Samll, but respectful boy,who was picked on at his local school.Yu Gi's grandfather owned a card shop where all the best cards were sold, his grandftaher gives Yu Gi A highly saugh after millenium puzzle to put together. when he does yugi becomes the dark taller version of himself called yami yugi. In battle this transformation some what gives yugi and edge in battle. Yu Gi collected duel monsters and didnt know that they could be braught alive in a duel stadium, till seto kaiba challenges his grandfather for the blue eyes white dragon card , after loosing Yu Gi's grandpa is injured and give shis deck to Yu Gi, whilst his friends take his granpa to hospital he challnges seto kaiba who rips up the blue eys whited ragon card he obtained. Kaiba send sout all 3 dragons Yu Gi realises that kaiba got rid of that card so it couldnt be used against him, But Yu Gi had constructed Exodia, and it creamed all 3 of kaiba's blue eyes white dragon.
Pagasus the owner of idustrial illusions sends a parcel to Yu Gi containing a video of himself, then takes Yu Gi's grandpas sould, which forces Yu Gi to travel to the duel kingdom and rescue his grandpa.
