Spawning out of Phoenix, Arizona, CHAOS formed late in the summer of 2001 in the garage of drummer David Libman after being sought out by Jimi Aguirre to form a new and exciting band. However, Jimi and David's unrivaled musical bond was created some three years earlier in 1998. Around that time, Jimi and David met a bass player by the name of Gabe Wright in that same garage. At the time, the trio had no clue that they would later reunite to form CHAOS. Although the core of CHAOS had been created, the trio yearned for a more complete sound. So, Gabe contacted his childhood friend Jeremy Tindell to play additional guitar parts. Consequently, the chaotically angry and undeniably aggressive hardcore/metal with a faint touch of funk band CHAOS was born. CHAOS is infused with soft melodic lyrics, angry screaming, catchy guitar rifs, punchy bass lines, and a one-of-a-kind bass-driven kick-ass drumbeat that isn't for the faint of heart. The lyrics of CHAOS tend to pull you in with a sweet smile and push you around with a devilish hand instantly. The music and lyrics are a direct reflection of Jimi's life experiences. CHAOS has no filter. They let all the pains and joys of each member out on stage to produce a spectacular show. Jimi, David, Gabe, and Jeremy all bring totally diverse and freakishly different backgrounds to the table that contributes to the overall aggressive syle CHAOS is known for today. |
