 As I'm sure you can tell by now, my misadventures have lead me to many Vampire sites. I love just about anything to do with Vampires. At least the gothic romantic type. The time period, the places, the colorful costumes. I was a little nervous about seeing the movie at first. I just knew they would trash it. I had a very hard time picturing Tom Cruise as the mischievous Lestat de Lioncourt. Brad Pitt as the beloved and always a bit sad Louis de Pointe du Lac? No way! Antonio Banderas as Armand? He couldn't possibly play Armand. I didn't like the character "Armand" in the book. I was pleasantly surprised when I did go to see it. They all did a wonderful job. Banderas was pure redemption of the awful character he was portraying. He looked fantastic. I think that was one of my favorite roles to see him in. Too perfect. |
