Besides illustrating my other big passion is electronic music, especially industrial, EBM, electro, and darker trance. Music is probably a big factor in keeping me going artistically. I like it so much I had to mess around with programming my own and trying to involve it in my illustration whenever I can. So I created Chaos Destiny to combine both comics and music.
Chaos Destiny the music/noise began a few years ago (actually before the comic idea) when I started screwing around with manipulating samples on my roommates computer. That grew into creating some really messed up remixes from samples. Then eventually I got some free programs and started making my own sound files and"composing" my own trax. Then I somehow made what I thought was a huge jump to remixing a track for the industrial band Razed <in> Black for their "Oh my Goth!" remix EP that was released on Cleopatra records. I owe all the credit of getting that remix released to the incredibly talented and hard working artist Romell Regulacion (who IS Razed in Black). If you've never heard RIB, check 'em out!!
My sound is kind of experimental electro/techno. For those of you into industrial/EBM I'd say my stuff is like Haujobb, Razed in Black and Apoptygma Berzerk mix together, using freeware and having not much knowledge of melody...but getting better and it's experimental, not radio pop.
