| Basics There are two reasons most people have chao: to have them as pets and to race them. You can enter the chao races from the neuteral garden. If it is your first time doing chao races you will see only two racing options: Beginner Race and Party Race. You must come in first on 3rd level difficulty on all the Beginner Races Two get the following races: Jewel Race, Challenge Race, Hero Race, and Dark Race. |

| Beginner Here are the first races your beginning chao are going to race in. You can get a prize from beating any of the four races on 3rd difficulty. |

| Jewel Races The next step in racing chao. These races on 5th difficulty are very hard unless your chao have been trained for the race. After beating 1st difficulty of the first four jewel races two more jewel races will appear. Of course, Your chao can get six prizes from this option by beating 5th difficulty of each race. Your chao wears the jewel of the race it just beat. |

| Challenge Races These races are for the best chao. They start out very easy and then get very hard. You will only see two rows of races but after you beat the first two rows a third row appears. You win a Prize after each row. There are 12 Challenge races in all. Good luck! |
