About Chao Adventure II:
To access Chao adventure II, go to the Machine with your Chao in your arms. Then save your Chao to the memory card. You'll need 128 spaces on your VMU, otherwise it won't save. Now, if you want to play straight away, run out of Chao world, and when you come to the stage select screen, turn off your dreamcast. Take out the memory card and (provided you have battery power. You do, don't you?) press the sleep button to turn on the VMU. Now, press mode button once and then press "A".
When you are walking with your Chao, at certain places, your Chao will have a letter on the bottom right of the screen. To open it, press the "A" button. (IF YOU WANT SOME TIPS ON THE ADVENTURES, CHECK OUT THE PAGE MARKED CHAO ADVENTURE II 2)
Sometimes, your Chao will come across this treasure chest. You'll need to choose which lock will give you the prize. If you guess correctly, you get a type of fruit and gain 100 luck. Lose and you lose 100 luck. There is no telling which one it'll be.
If you get into a flying fists fight, you are gambling any special fruit you have. If you win, no change. But if you lose the bully Chao eats your fruit. Shouldn't be too hard really. But there are times where it'll happen!
Your Chao isn't a mindless freak. It gets bored/tired easily. So it'll do something. When this happens (quite often mind you.) Press A to bring up the menu. Now press A on either Pet or Scold. (pet makes it like you more.) It'll resume it's walk afterwards!
When your walk is done, you'll be awarded a seed. If you want to take back your chao, slot the VMU back into the controller, turn on your DC and got to Chao world. Now step on the machine button and select the Chao and/or the things you won, and press select to take them out. |
