| So you want to understand your Chao eh? Its a useful skill to learn actually. You'll be able to desciffer (i dunno how to spell that!) what your chao is saying and how its feeling. |

| Something has caught it's attention. Not one to worry about. If it goes to the jack-in-a-box, stand by to pick up your chao. |

| It's asleep, let it rest in peace, or it'll hate you whenever you try to pet him. |

| He's either: 1. tripped up 2. is upset by your actions here's how to get round these... 1. If it has tripped up, pick it up and shake him for a while. This'll make it trip less in races! 2. To say you are sorry, pet it loads or shake it loads. |
| It's mood towards you is also recorded via picking him up, or whistleing. If you whistle and it runs like crazy to get to you, this means it adores you. Also. If you pick it up, If it stays still, it doesn't have any bad feelings towards you, but it doesn't love you either. If it rustles vicoracely (dunno how to spell that) it hates you and you won't be able to recover it to like you again. If it rustles in a loving way, IT LOVES YOU! Well done! |
