(http://www.geocities.com/hengeyokai_larp) 4. All scenes that affect other PC’s will happen at game. Exceptions will be allowed on a case-by-case basis; players will be responsible for gathering the affected parties and at least one staff member in such cases. 5. Anything that requires approval must be voted upon by staff; “majority rules” will apply. 6. Absence Policy It is recommended that you inform the staff (at game or via the website) if you are unable to attend for an extended period of time. If the staff is not informed, characters will be kept in the database for 4 gaming sessions before being deleted. 7. If you spend or lose a Trait, you must mark it on your character sheet. Pencils will be provided for this purpose. Anyone who is caught not marking their character sheet will be punished as if they were metagaming and/or cheating. 8. The 10-Pop Rule: In the unlikely event that mass combat occurs, this rule allows players and NPC’s to quickly end a fight. If 10 attackers attack a single opponent, the damage inflicted is enough to kill the target (modified accordingly). 9. Experience Awards 1 for showing up and playing 1 for costume/dress, approved by a staff member 1 for leadership, approved by a staff member. Multiple leadership XP awards may be given. 1 for exceptional role-playing, approved by a staff member. Multiple roleplaying XP awards may be given. A maximum of 5 XP may be given at a single game session (not including any extra scenes that are played during downtime). Additional XP will be awarded for purchasing merchandise at the venue we hold the game at. 1 XP will be awarded per $20 of purchased merchandise (including tax). XP will also be awarded for reasonable voluntary donations. Merchandise XP may be awarded above and beyond the 5 XP limit noted above. Experience awards will be available for purchasing character upgrades at the next gaming session. 10. No staff member will ever authorize an acceleration of required downtime, such as travel times, rite casting times, or healing time. If something takes all day to do, that will be what your character will be doing that day. If it takes 15 minutes to travel from the Dragon’s Nest to downtown Hong Kong, so be it. 11. In order to keep the game running, we ask that you donate a minimum of $1 per game session to the game. This donation will allow us to print your character sheet and provide pencils and updated rulebooks. Extra donations may allow the game to hold a party or rent a special location in which we can play. Those who do not donate will not be penalized in any way (unless, of course, we can’t print character sheets). 12. Frivolous use of cellular phones is forbidden. If you must take a call, step away from the game when taking the call.
